I just don’t get it! Rant

I just don’t understand some people!   I had this gentlemen walk in behind a group of Moms and kids.  The group walked over to the Ice Cream and started oohing and aahing over the different choices.    The man walked to the counter and impatiently stared at me.

So as I walked by on my way to the Ice Cream group, I told the man that I would be with him in just a minute.     I then welcomed the excited group of kids, told them to make their choices and I would be right back to scoop Ice Cream for them.  They thanked me and continued talking about what they would get.

I returned to the man, and asked him what I could get him.

To this he responds with in an angry tone, “Which is faster, a brew coffee or a double 12oz Latte?”

I am stumped.  What a strange question, usually people  know what they want and are willing to wait a second to get it.

” Well they take about the same time I guess.  Which would you like?” I said puzzled by his demeanor.

“Which one is faster?  I don’t care which one I get I just want the fastest one! I am in a hurry!!” he said almost jumping over the counter with impatiences.

“Then you get brew coffee.” I said flatly.

~as I am pouring his coffee I am thinking to myself, ‘Dude why are you mad at me cause you are in a hurry, and I told the people that came in before you that I would be right back so that I could help you first!!’~

but then the guy says this!

“See, now that’s what I like! Someone that can make a decision and doesn’t waffle around!! Good for you, good for you!”  still in a gruff manor and then continues to stand there and stare at me.

~so I again think to myself, ‘Dude you where in such a hurry and now you want to stand here and chat or compliment me?’    I just don’t get it!   Take your own advice, and make your own decisions! and don’t be mad at me when I ask you what YOU want!!~
